27th birthday

I turned 27 today, as with every birthday makes me think about where I am in life. The answer: exactly where I want to be !!

It’s almost been 2 years since the start of http://techAU.tv, it’s going amazingly. Traffic to the blog continues to grow every month, but more importantly techAU content is being seen by more people than ever before. Commenting, tweets and feedback in general are all increasing, a great sign for the future of techAU. It continues to be a fantastic creative outlet and things are only getting better from here.

I have a great group of friends and right now being un-attached allows the freedom to make decisions quickly and take advantage of opportunities as they arrive.

In my 9-5 I’m now project managing 2 large projects at work. Office 2007 implementation and SharePoint 2007 across a fleet of 1000+ machines and around 400 employees. I’m loving the challenge and enjoy my work. A vast improvement over my commercial projects production role of a couple years ago that contained dangerously unachievable deadlines, causing incredible stress and left virtually no time for life.

The birthday invites today have flowed in via new media technologies like twitter and Facebook, as well as the more traditional phone and sms. It’s been interesting to see the way people are choosing to communicate change over the years.

Free birthday Boost Juice

Also picked up my free birthday Boost Juice earlier, that’s a great reason 2 be a member if you like boost, just show your ID.

Hope everyone is having a great day, cause I sure am.

A huge THANKYOU to all who’ve wished me well today.

Cheers !
