Dell Adamo vs Apple Macbook Air Dell Adamo vs Apple Macbook Air

Dell’s finally taken the wraps of it’s sexy thin new premium laptop and announced specs and pricing. Unfortunately the news isn’t good, especially for Australians.

The Dell Adamo is clearly a response to Apple’s ultra-thin Macbook Air. So naturally there’ll be comparisons drawn between the two. How does it stack up ? Check out the table below and decide for yourself.

I was shocked to see the Macbook Air winning the battle with better specs (sans ports), and a cheaper price. Remember this is the Australian equation it may be different internationally.

After first seeing the Adamo, I was convinced this was going to be my next laptop purchase, but the specs and price have changed my mind.

Wow, the specs on the Adamo are terrible! I thought the Air was a bit lean on the specs, but Dell's taking it into netbook territory with Macbook Pro prices.

wow that thing would be slow

Wow, that proves that Apple are not always inflated in their pricing. MacBook Air has the added benefit of OSX plus if you need/want Windows you can dual boot. :)

Wow, that just goes to show that Apple are not always inflated in price. I love the Mac format so I would be getting the Air other the Adamo for that reason alone but even you as a Windows user may want the Air and dual boot.
