Door dints: a thing of the past

Post date Posted Friday, December 14, 2007 at 8:03 pm by Jason Cartwright |

It’s technology like this that makes a difference to people’s everyday life. I have a car that I value highly, for that reason I choose to always park end-to-end, rather than side-by-side which would make me susceptible to door dints.

I’ve had the car for 2 years, done a lot of modifications to it and still don’t have a mark on it. I’ve seen the sad reality of cars opening their doors into one another, it’s really not pretty.

This new technology that sees the door of a vehicle slide underneath the vehicle rather than opening outwards from the vehicle, instantly eliminates door dints.

This can’t become a standard soon enough in my opinion. Props 2 the inventor for this one.
