Forza 3 multi-disc crazyness

Forza 3

Until now I’ve not had a problem with the Xbox 360 only having a standard DVD drive (with the exception of the noise). That was until now, when speculation around Forza 3 points to it being delivered on multiple discs. Forza 2 is a very impressive game, and right now is still amongst the top racing games available. The next edition in the successful Forza series, will build on success of the previous games and increase graphic quality and number of cars and tracks in the game.

The current rumour explains that the core game will be contained on one disc and additional content will be on a second.

If this is indeed the case, no matter how the content is split, then Microsoft should seriously move to a Blu-ray drive, because at this point I’m tired of changing optical discs when changing games, and seriously changing discs inside the same game would be just bloody annoying.

This has now been confirmed to be the case, but I've moved on from my calls of a blu-ray drive in favor of the full-game downloads.. coming soon.

Solution; transfer/load the entire game to your HDD. What else are you using 120bg for, or 20gb for that matter?

Who cares, I will install this on my 360 hard drive 2 minutes after I buy it.

This post was written quite some time ago. Long before installable games on the 360 were around. Hopefully this will fix the multi-disc craziness. Mind you.. I’ll have to upgrade to a larger hard drive before then.

I still rather have two disks than pay, a dollar+ for each and every extra car, that they were either to lazy to put in originally or just knew that it was a car everybody would want so you have to pay more for it.

Im just getting sick of purchasing incomplete games at a ridiculous price. Then having to pay more for the rest.
