Office 2010 beta site now live, download available soon

The Office 2010 beta website is now available at http://officebeta.microsoft.com
As a current user of the Office 2010 Technical Preview I’m looking forward to the updated version. There’s sure to be some tweaks to the UI and improvements made based on user feedback, one of note is the Backstage view.
The website itself is pretty sparse right now, but the site in general fits with the Windows 7 theme of slick, clean lines. The green and gold gives is comfortably familiar for Australians.
Head over to the US site – http://officebeta.microsoft.com/en-us – and you’ll see this..
The noteworthy difference being the ‘Try Office Web Apps’ link. This will be the first time many people get access to the first web-versions of the office suite.
It seems the site isn’t quite ready (missing homepage graphic for a start), but if you try and click the Download link, your met with “The Office 2010 beta is coming soon.”
