Vic Fires melting sites
Posted on: 8/Feb/09
Today is a dark day in Victoria’s history, homes and lives lost, smoke blanketing most of the state. After the latest information updates, large volumes of people are heading online to get the latest news.
Unfortunately this has put enormous strain on the emergency services websites. Sites like DSE, CFA and VicRoads sites have experienced slow speeds or even been brought down with the high volume of traffic. (I’ve intentionally not linked to these sites to avoid further burdening them with un-necessary traffic).
