By the way, for Windows Live Messenger, if you uncheck the “Always show the main window in social mode when Messenger starts” option, and restart Messenger, you'll notice the window size will return to the original size.
Also for Photo Gallery, besides Face Detection (which has been there for a while), it also has Face Recognition that you forgot to mention. See this post for more coverage – http://liveside.net/main/archive/2010/03/20/win… This feature is a bit hidden, and only works when you've tagged a couple of faces beforehand. Try it out!

Good post Jason. However, notice how unfinished Photo Gallery is in this particular build. Long way to go yet, and I expected the Geotagging to be fully synced with the excellent Bing maps.
