WordPress 3.0 released !!
Posted Friday, June 18, 2010 at 10:29 am by Time for one of the biggest upgrades to WordPress – version 3.0 There’s lots of changes.. check out the video below for all the details. I’ll be upgrading techAU to 3.0 very shortly.. hopefully plugin authors move quickly to make them 3.0 compatible.
Major features include:
- Merging of WordPress and MU allowing multiple WP sites from one install
- New default theme called Twenty Ten
- Simplified, lighter UI
- Built-in URL shortener service
- Single-click batch upgrade for all plugins
