Yahoo! Live 
Yahoo! Live was an online service that lets you stream from your webcam out to the world. Yahoo Live faced a long lineup of competition from uStream.tv, Justin.tv, stickam, to name a few. On December 3, 2008 Yahoo! decided to close the service.

Yahoo! have been pretty quiet about the whole venture, we can only assume that a deflating share price and expensive bandwidth bills didn’t sit well with the company. Data about the user numbers weren’t made public, but I think it’s safe to assume they weren’t as high as expected.

So with that.. farewell Yahoo! Live – kthxbai.
